Growing up, Bri has always been an "old soul", as many would say. Born in the 1990's, Bri has always been fascinated with astronomy, spirituality, and holistic alternatives. During Bri's junior year in college, she became pregnant with her daughter. She was considered "high risk", so she had to stay active and monitor her diet, as well as administer herself daily shots in the leg during her last trimester. Thankfully, she gave birth to her first born, in September of 2015 without any complications. Now being a single mother, Bri had to choose a career that would best fit her new lifestyle. In 2018, Bri had decided to become a teacher, and during her journey she encountered a friend turned grandmotherly figure, Mrs. Manuel, "Manny". Although Manny was old enough to be my grandmother, she worked and took care of her elderly mother, all while taking dozens of medications. Two years later, Gold Blooded Tingz (later changed to TIAA) was formed, but unfortunately Manny never made it to see the grand opening due to her untimely passing. The same year, Bri's grandmother passed away as well, Immacula Dimanche. After losing two people close to her, Bri couldn't help but wonder if their health played a factor in their deaths. Bri felt if she could come up with herbal remedies that helped people get better naturally, people would no longer need to carry around gallon bags of medicine to live. Nonentheless, Manny and Immacula Dimanche were two of the many reasons TIAA was established; to help, to serve and support, and to extend unconditional love, naturally and platonically.
